It's Simple...it's MOVIE REVIEW TIME!

Sun May 31, 2009, 8:15 PM
And now, once again, its time for the:

"Movie Reviews that I have seen so far within a period of time":

::..::..::..:da-da-da-DA:..::..::..::..

X-Men Origins: Wolverine - :star::star::star::star::star::star::star::star::star-half::star-empty:

"While this is a spectacular, I couldn't help but notice the characters I personally feel they could have done a MUCH better job; both placement and role situations to the story line.
Hugh Jackman IS Wolverine, that's as easy as that; he ability of being able to shift is tone of voice to Americanized version, but still keeping a TINT of the Australian tone in there seems to make his attribution to Wolverine more...Wolverine-ish.
Do I recomend this movie, HELL yeah, but if you are a serious Marvel Man or Woman, you'll know what I was talking about with the character situation."

Star Trek - :star::star::star::star::star::star::star::star::star::star:

ABSOLUTE KNOCK-OUT! While I was never a Trekkie, I still could feel the characters I did recognize, and I will say right now: 'J.J. Abrams' NAILED this movie; hit it right on the head; the characters were all PERFECT, and Zachary Quinto was at his BEST, and I would know, I am a HEROES fanatic.
I recommend this full heartily to all those who are looking for a good movie, who are both Trekkie and Not.
And, as I must say, This movie will defiantly "Live Long, and Prosper" in my book.

Taken - :star::star::star::star::star::star::star::star::star::star-half:

Holy crap...by far one of the only movies to make me sit on the edge of my seat throughout the whole damn movie is the movie, "Taken"
Right from the beginning you know that there is a backbone behind this story that is really what propels the entire movie forward. The suspense is the real knock out for this movie, while some say it was predictable, it is still so satisfying to see the all of the high chase, plot-twisting, and of the story's sick mindedness that is "Taken", it is a must see for all action, drama, thriller, suspense genre movie goers.

Up - :star::star::star::star::star::star::star::star::star::star:

Disney/Pixar has finally come out of it's safe zone and decided to make a movie that actually had a spine of sadness behind it that was quick flooded with gut busting laughing scenes and even more heart swinging sadness, with the fusion of more of a adultery attitude to the back story, but still enough of a kid movie to take the family to, or really to see with your friends of any age. I will say that the trailers give no hint as to what the actual story is, but once you see the movie in the theater, you'll know that it was TOTALLY worth seeing.
Ah, P.S. If your wondering if you should see it in the "Disney Digital 3-D", I'll tell you right now, it isn't what you think it is. While 3-D in a theater such as IMAX, you really feel as if your in the movie. In the case of the Disney Digital 3-D, it's not so much 3-D as it is really heavy depth of field.

  • Mood: Relief
  • Listening to: "Skeleton Boy" by Friendly Fires
  • Reading: "The Final Warning" by James Patterson
  • Watching: Whose Line is it Anyway? (Oh hell yeah...)
  • Playing: With my Canon Vixia HV30 and Rode VideoMic

  • Drinking: Chocolate Milk...yeah, can't get enough.

Well, the deviations of yours have been fantastic! Your very welcome!

The Hangover? No, not yet at least. My brother has seen it, and said it was downright the funniest movie he's seen. The euphemism he used was something along the lines of: "If 'Superbad' and 'Knocked Up' mated and had a child, thats what 'The Hangover' is to all funny movies."

...can't get more descriptive than that, can you?

Yes, I saw it...and it was AWESOME! See it, see it NOW. Even if you are not a 'Trekkie', you'll enjoy this movie. You recognize characters, both from Star Trek and from other movies or shows.

Sorry...I've been 'living on, and prospering' after seeing the Star Trek movie, I guess people aren't getting the same ideals.

Nah, you've got a great idealistic for creating a scene that fits description. The color matches the tone of the sunset scene you describe, and the.

Ah, I see. I carry around three sketch-books everywhere I go, especially at school; for some reason there are spontaneous combustible thoughts when I am done with the work in class, and I just...well: draw, sketch, plot, write out the new ideas I get seriously everyday...(I need to get a mind journal or something...)

((((Yes, I am responding again to this message because I accidentally fused to conversations I was typing at the same time. My bad)))
